Dr. Michael J Reinstein, MD

Worst dr ever. Google his name & you'll see he's a convicted criminal, so I wouldn't even give him a star if I could. He admitted in court to prescribing meds to people just to except kickbacks from pharmaceutical companies. I was in a nursing & rehabilitation home for neurological issues/ seizures, after having brain surgeries & also after having stomach surgery, but he transferred me from a medical facility to a psychiatric facility & put me on several psychiatric medications all at the same time, including clozapine, which can cause seizures & is only used for severe cases of schizoaffective disorder, which I've never had, but I had no choice to take it because they wouldn't allow me to leave the building unless I took it. When I was finally able to get my own apt, I found out I had a brain tumor & also ulcers from all the medications, so I would have died if I stayed there because I was not getting proper medical treatment. I had to have 2 more brain surgeries, then had to go back… to a nursing home for about 8 months for recovery, which was a place this dr worked & while I was at the nursing home, he had me on over 35 pills a day; most of them were psychiatric meds, which I didn't need. Now that I'm not under his treatment, I no longer have seizures, the only meds I take are 2 seizure meds, I only see a psychiatrist if I want to, like if I get upset about a family member dying for example & my dr has never prescribed me any psychiatric medication because I don't need them. Don't waste your time, money or your insurance companies money for this criminal, just so he can put you on meds you don't need.

It's people like "Dr" Reinstein who give psychiatry a bad name. He deserves not only the millions of dollars in damages being sought against him in this current lawsuit, but prison time. Good riddance.

Horrendous care. He has no right to practice medicine. Just look up his malpractice cases. Wow!
