Dr. Michael Reymann is a graduate of John Hopkins University in Maryland in 1965 and the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham in 1973, with subsequent Internship and Residency at the University of Washington in 1976. He completed his Infectious Diseases Fellowship in 1978 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Reymann is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Dr. Reymann founded Infectious Disease Associates, PSC, in Birmingham, Alabama in 1979 and after serving the Birmingham area hospital community for 30 years, closed his practice in 2009. He then moved to Lexington, Kentucky and joined Lexington Infectious Disease Consultants, PSC.

Dr Reymann was always well prepared for the appointment, took time to explain his approach and was extremely professional. He is a very knowledgeable and impressive doctor.

Dr. Reyman is one of the most insensitive and rude doctors I have ever met and I have worked in the healthcare field for 25 years.

Love him! He has been the most wonderful doctor I have ever had. I have a very complex situation but he has not given up. He actually cares and wants to help. He spends time explaining things. He answers my questions. He is kind. He even called me to discuss results to make sure I understood what we were going to do next. There is something to be said for good, old fashioned, common courtesy. Something most doctors do not have these days and it is a real treasure to find someone like Dr. Reymann.

I don't care how friendly and chit-chatty a dr is. I want him/her to know what they are talking about and help in my care. Dr. Reymann is very smart just a little dry and to the point.
