Dr. Michael Anthony Ricci, MD

Dr. Ricci ordered a test on my left leg to put a stint in. During the test the Tech who was doing the test asked me how I liked living in Maine since I Moved here from Texas. I told her I liked living here but the town I live in needs some ordinances. She then said I could go back to where I came from. Then Dr. Ricci gave me a prescription without telling me what they were for. And told me to come back in 30 days. 30 days later I went back and Dr. Ricci flat out refused to put a stint in my leg because I was a smoker. I then quit smoking for a year and a half so my Provider sent me back to Dr. Ricci, where the Tech accused me of still smoking, I told her I stopped smoking a year and a half ago, She called me a lier and showed me the door. I sent in a complaint but to this day I have not heard a word from the Hospital about it. I went to another and had the surgery done.

Dr Ricci did a wonderful job trying to save my fiancé foot after he’d had vascular work and stints put in( another dr did this ). My fiancé foot wound wasn’t healing and Dr. Ricci took over with his care . He was very friendly and knowledgeable. And he explained everything that was happening in a way that we could understand. He showed great empathy and compassion caring for my fiancé. He was awesome and we will miss him. Another awesome Dr.in that practice in Dr. Magilacutty . He’s taken over for Dr. Ricci. We were so fortunate to have such a wonderful team of doctors.

I thought Dr. Ricci was condescending to me..He did a lot of smirking and laughing and in my opinion was very unprofessional...Argued with me about the fact I had been seen for wound care in his department before.. I don't think having an ultra sound on my leg for phlebitis is considered wound care...my primary doctor did all the wound care in this instance..
