Dr. Michael Steven Richheimer, MD

Unable to rate Doctor but can give the office staff at the Brooklyn office a big fat ZERO. Made appointment through hospital portal weeks ago - NO MENTION OF TIME RESTRICTIONS FOR NEW PATIENTS OR THE OFFICE “POLICY” OF REQUIRING A REFERRAL THAT MY INSURANCE DOES NOT REQUIRE. I confirmed appointment via text 2 days ago. 2 hours before my appointment, after already juggling meetings etc & taking 2 hours leave from work , I’m informed of above. The practice is disrespectful of other people’s time and showed a blatant disregard for my health. Someone should have called when the appointment was made so I didn’t waste weeks waiting to see a doctor who refuses to see me because I don’t have a “referral” my insurance doesn’t require.

This doctor is more than the usual physician. He runs a very friendly, yet professional office. Patients are treated like friends and family while receiving excellent care. Dr. Richheimer takes enough time to be thorough and makes you feel that any concerns you may have are important to him. He listens and shows that he truly cares. You'll never find a better doctor!

Dr. Richheimer is a very down to earth person....makes you feel comfortable..He asked all the write questions and was very mellow..No superego..One problem is the front desk .Most seem uncaring and annoyed. Only one young lady was professional...They need to be trained to interact with patients with a smile, be pleasant, and courteous..

I been with Dr. Richhiemer for a couple of years, but Prohealth has really let their customer service slip. They just expect the patient to know if their moving. I take allergy shots, so I call before I come so they can mix it. Why is that when I get there, the staff never told the P.A to mix it. They waste your time, and Dr. Richhiemer doesn’t care or hold his staff to a better line of care. Finding a new allergist, and mind you I was traveling one and a half hours to come to his Greenpoint office.

If I could give a Zero I would. Neglectful and inattentive, uses opinions instead of data to diagnose patients. Went to him for a time, but never trusted him. Unfortunately my husband did and is now suffering from MR's negligence and inept handling of several problems that were handelable but are now drugged reliant. But I trust Karma. I need do nothing - he'll do it to himself.

Dr. M. Richheimer is a caring, compassionate doctor. Gives you honest advice. Works very quickly and leaves you satified with any direct questions asked.I would recommend him to a friend or a family member. Also has a wonderful sence of hummor.

I go to the Bayshore office and I can't say enough about the people who work there. They help and work with you as much as they can to make it easier for us. Dr. Richheimer is the best doctor. When you see him for an appt, your seeing the best of his kind.

Dr. Richheimer is thorough and attentive to his patient's needs. He has a very good natured disposition.

Ive been with Dr. Richheimer for 20 years and all I can say is that he is a top notch doctor! No other doctor has been in Time magazine and voted the best doctor in NY 9 times! Although his front desk do have accents, they are still a wonderful bunch of girls (especially Audrey) The med. techs and nurses are professional and compassionate. He definitely is the best doctor you will ever find and he truly cares and wants the best for you!!! You cant go wrong with him. He saved my life!

Dr. Richheimer is great. He needs a better staff at the desk. The nurses are good. The office manager Joanne is very nice The rest are rude and should learn to be nicer. On the phone the accents are hard to understand
