Summary
Dr. Michael Risher discovered his calling to become a chiropractor in eighth grade after a back injury. The care he received helped him recover and go on to a successful high school and collegiate football career — he was named a Division III All-American defensive back as a senior at Wheaton College, where he also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Health Science. In 2015 he fulfilled a lifelong goal by cycling from San Francisco to Boston, an experience that reinforced his commitment to overcoming obstacles.
Before attending Palmer Chiropractic College West, Dr. Risher worked as a sports performance coach in Highland Park, training athletes of all ages. He moved to San Jose in 2016 to complete his Doctorate of Chiropractic, graduating with clinical excellence honors. Dr. Risher is passionate about helping patients remove the barriers that keep them from living the life they want.
