Could not help with a headache, Does he even have a license still somehow?

Dr. Rock is ONE of the BEST physicians I've ever met. In the 18 years of being in healthcare, I've encountered many aweful, rude, judgmental, ignorant doctors and few with his TOPNOTCH approach!!! He builds trust and has EXCELLENT bedside manner. He empathized with my pain and DID NOT make me feel like I was insane or that its all in my "head". He wants to help and fix the pain . He takes a holistic approach with my treatment plan and even asked for my input. He also broke the medical information down to a cellular level. Sadly, there are so many aweful doctors in the world and Dr. ROCK COULD teach them a thing or two. I am very excited to feeling better.

My name is Diane Schmidt. I have been seeing Dr. Michael Rock for quite some time now. If you are someone who feels totally lost in regards to your medical conditions and suffering with unbearable pain and need help..THIS IS THE MAN TO MEET ! Dr. Rock and all of his support staff are just terrific. The scheduling in getting an appointment is easy. Dr. Rock has his patients in mind all the time and will spend as much time with you as you need. He is great in listening to his patients. He truly truly understands pain and how it can affect a persons life. I have had several surgical hospitalizations with a mixture of medical conditions and complications. Dr. Rock first listens, then evaluates and from there you are on your way back to leading a more functional and happier life with an ongoing relationship. He does not push you towards any type of treatment if what he has already recommended for you is working. He once told me that if something is working , let it be. Do not try and… fix something which is not broken. He has a great deal of knowledge and heart. Why are you still reading this ? You should be in his office along with his support team, now. Why live in pain and complain about it when you can actually feel much more comfortable and still be able to live your life ? I should have seen Dr. Rock and his team right after my surgical procedures. I wasted too much time losing out on what life and Dr. Rock have to offer. Better yet, see him before you go under the knife, it may be surgery avoided. Dr. Rock used to work in a hospital and knew he could help patients with the allowed equipment and his on going education in neuropathic pain. He broke out and, yes, now has a practice he continues to build on and is well known for his ethics and empathy. Take a look at all of his credentials, outstanding ! As a patient of his, I feel he has added years to my life. The systems he put into place at THE INSTITUTE FOR NEUROPATHIC PAIN makes it easier to get in for your appt. and out , no long waits but wonderful care by all. I go to his office on Higgins in Chicago, but he has at least three other locations where he sees patients which makes the trip convenient for all and allows for flexability to meet your personal schedules. I sincerely hope my comments find you working with DR.MICHAEL ROCK at THE INSTITUTE for NEUROPATHIC PAIN . I have been threw 32 MAJOR operations. I was chosen by DR. Rock to help with the hope's of healing mending . Dr.Rock had new what I was going threw do to familiarizing himself with my major illnesses. The day I walked into the office I will never forget meeting him. I started to cry thinking this was just someone else to throw me into another failure experiences like all of the last doctor's I was ever with. As I sat down I began to cry he told me to hold my head up high that he does understand and I have been sent to be taken care of correctly this time I Knew by the look in his eyes this is a very sincere kind caring genuine outgoing human being I met him in 2013 he followed me for a few years but I had to move for my own mentality he did all he could do by me leaving I have never ever experienced the knowledge the kind of care the treatments he had done everything he went over and Beyond DR. MICHEAL H ROCK IS BY FAR THE GREATEST miracle he believed in me he cared for me like I was… a human being it is 2018 I'm trying to move back so that I can come back to him my health has gone extremely poor when he had it so under control he is a genius a marvelous man

I have been in pain management for a very long time. And never have I had a doctor explain everything to me the way Dr Rock did. He's Awesome , I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Rock treated my mother first for cancer. Then he took me on as a patient, even though I'm a difficult case w/ many orthopaedic issues. I came from a terrible doctor who believed medicating heavily was the answer- something Dr. Rock has never subscribed to. He changed my life and the life of my family. I thought I'd spend it in bed and being in my mid 30's that wasn't the life I wanted for any of us. It's been about 15 years and he's saved my life more than once. I wouldn't trade doctors ever. I'd travel anywhere to keep him as my doctors- he's worth it! If you can't find relief or answers and want a doctor who fights for you, Dr. Rock's the doctor for you! ***** (5 stars!)

Dr Rock is very knowledgable, smart and easy going dr/person. I used to work with him and ask him question it was not related to pain but to general health he answered my question and was right!!!!! I think it is amazing. I recommend Dr Rock to everybody he is really great Dr and human.

Great compassion and understanding using up to date technology.

Can never get a hold of Dr to make appointments or fill my prescriptions. Been with him for years and it's progressively getting worse. Been without my medicine for days now, getting very sick now.

I was referred to him through a therapist (which is something they just don't do) and liked his straight forward, no nonsence attitude from the start. He showed me what was going on, why what we've done isn't working & outlined a plan to help my issues & started on the spot. He did his best to do what insurance required without feeling like I was jumping through 18 hoops just to get one thing done . It's so refreshing to have a Dr that cares about the patient first!
