Dr. Michael Rosas

I saw this guy while inpatient. He has a very poor bedside manner. Did not listen or seem compassionate. Acted rushed and just plain unhelpful.

Dr Rosas would not give me any other option other then antidepressants. All I wanted was recommendation letter for trans srs and he would not give me the recommendation unless I was put on antidepressants. Did not listen to me at all.

Ask irrelevant questions. Doesn't care about anyone but himself and billing.

Rosas was obviously arrogant from the beginning and throughout the session. He showed zero empathy and made me feel uncomfortable the entire time. When he asked about private and personal issues, I asked to verify that everything was confidential as it should be and his answer was no, it was not a confidential session. I should have walked out at that point. I will never see him again, and would strongly urge anyone to seek another psychiatrist.

He seems genuine just assumes too much. He asks you a bunch of questions not asking you the why part of things.

found dr. to be very intimidating. I am supposed to schedule follow up visit and when I call number provided upon discharge no one answers the phone.
