Dr. Michael Jay Rosenberg, MD

Dr. Rosenberg saved my husbands life a few times. We miss him and wish we could have him back in Illinois. We both were patients of his for about 20 some years. We found him caring not only as a doctor but a concerned friend in who knew exactly how to treat our health problems and help us understand the treatments and why. We coulnd not speak any higher of him. Truly miss him. Sam and Jphanna

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Rosenberg when he treated my father at Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois. When my parents moved, we were delighted to find Dr. Rosenberg was on staff at his local hospital and we were able to continue to see him. We were very sad to see that he was relocating out of state and if he were to move back to Illinois we wouldn't hesitate to become his patient once again. Dr. Rosenberg is an impressive doctor and I think any hospital and community is lucky to have him.

I am shocked by the comment before. To make a statement by saying he's "uncaring" in one sentence should hold no validity to heart patients seeking excellent care from an outstanding physician. I am 38 years old and I've been seeing Dr. Rosenberg since I was 17. As a young man, it was very daunting to learn I had a possibly fatal heart condition and Dr. Rosenberg took time out to explain my condition, explain options, and inform me as to what I should and shouldn't do. He has gone out of his way to be accommodating. When I left the country for a period of time, he gave me his e-mail address so I could keep in contact with him. He's always been happy to see me and, as I'm not a very pleasant person at times, it astounded me! He's moving and it's unfortunate for me that I cannot continue my care with Dr. Rosenberg. Not sure what the deal was with the patient before me; lame.
