Dr. Michael J Ruelf

We have been going to Dr. Ruelf for several years. Both of my daughters needed extensive work done. After he saw them, he scheduled a free meeting with just us, the parents. He explained to us, in detail, what all of the problems were, how they would need to be fixed, proposed a care plan, gave us options, let us know the pros and cons of each treatment, and let us know up front about the price. I left the meeting feeling like I knew everything I needed to know about the care that they needed, as well as the facts to make good decisions. He has been doing their work for a long time now, and the difference is huge! Their smiles look so much better. Their teeth have stayed healthy. They are comfortable in his care and with talking to him. He is great at explaining each stage and checking in with you for anything outside of the expected. He is a super nice guy to talk to, and his office staff has never been anything but friendly and on top of things. I'm not looking forward to the day… they can no longer go to a pediatric dentist, because Dr. Ruelf has my trust.

The Dr Reulf is fantastic . It hurts the way the wife talks , from experience the wife ( office manager )might think they are doing a good job working with their husband but what they do is driving patients away with a non chalet attitude . It will be sad to change dentist . She gave me the option to go ahead just to tell you she could care less . Several years my kids have been seeing Dr Reulf , they love and adore him ,but for one person ( wife) to determine the show . Dr Reulf please create a feedback box or ask with your patients the experience or oncerns they might have . I was told I cannot see you she is in charge .

2 of my children have been here for a year. My 3rd I had to find another dentist for. He has heart disease and I needed an office that could better cooperate with him with his anxiety issues. Needless to say I have had judgmental looks from Dr Ruelf thrown towards me, and to top it off his office staff nor he EVER told me that they needed my son's Cardiologist to sign off on dental procedures or tell us if he needed antibiotics before any procedures were done. The new office wouldn't touch him without clearance from the Cardiologist. I am VERY grateful for the new dentist and will be switching my other two children to the new dentist as well. I'm afraid of what would have happened to my son had he cooperated for Dr Ruelf and his staff and something gone wrong with his heart because he wasn't on antibiotics like he should be before any dental procedures.

Great first experience with a dentist for our son and he put me at ease too :-) great environment for kids and especially ones who love trains....great distraction!
