Dr. Michael Brian Russo, MD

Russo clearly has severe mental health bias and/or is just a terrible doctor. He acted eager to help until presumably he saw my chart stating that I had a previous suicide attempt 3 years earlier. Then he outright refused to go over my test results thoroughly and cruelly patronized me, saying “well, just don’t fall down anymore, and don’t k*ll yourself.” As if it was some kind of joke. Twice. Then he insistently asked how often I hear voices when I tried to tell him I have tinnitus!!??! Totally unprofessional. Didn't ask about any of my symptoms and literally walked out of the office before I could say anything else. He spent less than 10 minutes with us after waiting 3 months for the first in-person appointment. My husband who was present and knows him outside of the medical field was in completely shock at how he treated me. I cannot recommend this doctor to anyone.

Hands down the most important doctor my husband has seen. He is compassionate, caring, intelligent and kind. We cannot thank Dr Russo enough for taking care of my husband and getting him back on the correct seizure medication and making sure he is healthy. We owe him the world.

I started seeing him a couple years ago, bc I liked his logo "heal your brain with your mind". I never got anywhere close to any ideas of healing. I went to see him for seizures. I felt talked down to a lot. I always go in with my list to have my questions answered, but I always am either walked out of the office by him in the middle of my talking, or the front lady comes in to escort me out and set me up for my next appointment. I recently had a DEEG done. At first I didnt hear the results of the test until I asked ( this was whole reason I came in). I went over my results when I got home and they didnt make any sense. It said I did things like counting backwards and breathing heavy (when asked to) and had results for these things. However, I never did those things during my test. I wonder if this is even my test! It has my name on it, but even the results of what it says my seizure disorder is, doesn't line up with past test I had. I left the office very upset. I will be looking for… a doctor I can trust and a doctor that will ask me if I have any questions. Never once have I felt anything that is going on with me (besides seizures) was looked into and I have many serious symptoms daily!

I've had insomnia for years and thanks to DR Russo I now can sleep through the night. He had me do a sleep study and I'm now using a Cpap machine. My memory is back again!!! Thanks Dr Russo!

After over 15 years of trying to get answers about my husband's severe medical problems, we finally met Dr. Russo. He has zeroed right in on what is going on and we now have answers and are well on the way to huge improvements. I could not be more relieved or grateful. Dr. Russo is that rare combo of being a genius with a kind heart. His office staff, Elise and Ryan, are also wonderful to work with - they, too, go out of their way to be helpful and considerate. All in all, a Godsend.

This doctor - human being - is not the same one many of us had the pleasure of meeting and being helped by a just few years ago. From being the very best, and kind and truly passionate about helping people...to this...who knows. His "wife" scares me, (has anyone seen her board certification, licenses, etc.?)...he scares me, and I hear his whole staff left him. Makes sense. More and more patients are coming forward, and it seems he has done a tremendous amount of harm to patients (even if the rumor about his getting tooooo personal and fully discarding that oath of his and crossing ethical boundaries with patients is unfounded). Hospitalizations, sickness, getting cut off meds.... He once was better than anyone could hope for--. a really spectacular doctor and person. It seems now that he would do well to take time off and get some help himself, or stop practicing. Lives have been ruined...how long before lives are lost!? WATCH OUT!

RUN, don't walk away from this CLOWN. If you want to have multiple tests performed that have NOTHING to do with the reason you came in, then he is the one to see. What happened to the entire previos staff? Wht can't i understand one word his "wife" speaks? He looks about 30 years plder than her..online purchase? Why does his Office keep moving? Get informed...

I have been seeing him for years and he has put me on a bunch 9f medications.Never looking for they underlying problems.After three years of going down hill I did research and found Dr.liow at Hawaii Pacific Neuroscience. And he has found most of my medical problems. Which is quite a lot some requiring surgery some is permanent damage but I got answers.I know Dr.Russo both on a personal and professional level he has a lot of personal issues which affect the way he treats his patients He changes like the weather.When it's your health second opinionset are always good.Aloha

The worst most out of touch doctor ive ever met in my life! When i went in for my first appointment he saw in an office with no doors where i could hear the person before me being seen , when i went in for my appointment and asked him about the doors and my privacy he laughed it off and said who needs privacy anyways... i got up then and left finding this unacceptable! He was rocking back and forth while talking to me.. seems to me like he may be on drugs... never going back again and i would not recommend!!
