Dr. Michael Paul Scaccia, MD

He has been my doctor since I was a baby, he's always figured out what was wrong on the first try and followed up with my family & I in every case. I wish he could be my doctor throughout my adult years honestly. I have yet to meet a doctor as awesome as he is.

Dr. Scaccia is truly an amazing physician. We've taken my son there since birth and he's always been very knowledgeable and understanding. (Which is a lot coming from a new mom with tons of questions and worries.) He's never been the type to make you feel like you're just another patient that he has to check off of his list. I appreciate his honesty and support. (I am a breastfeeding mom.) My first couple of visits I was pretty weary about returning or not... had to see a nurse practitioner (Dr.Scaccia wasn't available) who honestly had no clue as to what she was doing and didn't answer any of my questions accurately. The nurse (won't mention names) who is assigned to Dr.Scaccia isn't friendly at all, and seems like she hates her job. I'm always hesitant when she has to give my son shots! Not to mention I'm a bit of a germ-aphob and there were kids throwing up in the waiting area by my 7 day old baby! Simple Solution: I always book the first appointment in the morning, no sick kids- no… waiting time! (Don't steal my idea! haha) Anyways to sum it all up: Dr.Scaccia is wonderful, and I go there for him, not the practice. If he ever moves, rest assure I'll be following him wherever. No matter how far the drive! :)
