Dr. Michael John Schatzman, MD

Refused to diagnosis pain and swelling in my foot for 18months. Changed physicians and my disease was diagnosed via a simple blood test...gout.

My elderly father was a patient of Dr. Schatzman. He has Alzheimers. When we needed to activate our Power Of Attorney with two doctor signatures, Schatzman signed it, but they refused to help us find another doctor to sign it as well. He is part of a giant clinic, and he insisted there was no other doc that could help us. We have had to find a new doctor at a different clinic to get the second signature. Quite a jerk.

I will never go back to Dr. Schatzman again. He ignored what I was telling him, instead jumping to conclusions...and simply not listening to other things I had to say. I was there for a back injury and he treated me like an addict rather than a patient in pain. I was also supposed to discuss my headaches and getting on medication to stop smoking...but that he blew off and said "lets only talk about the problem you have right now." I will be getting a new primary...and after how I was treated by him, am not sure if I would even consider Froedert clinics at all. Do not make the mistake I did!

Dr. Schatzman has provided me with substandard care over the past couple of years. He never has an answer for mr and I find myself in urgent care as a follow up to my visits with him! Dr. Schatman prescribed the wrong medicine and had his nurse call after I had completed the full dose. I will not recommend him to anyone, especially a female. He is not a systems thinker and doesn't have the ability to investigate ongoing symptoms at early stages or he doesn't care to. I'm underwhelmed by his lack of care and will never see him again!

Did not leave me with a good first impression. Asked me to "Tell me about yourself". Then cut me off with, "I don't have time for ...
