Dr. Michael Scherr was born in the Bronx, NY, proud home of the Yankees and the Bronx Zoo. He attended the Bronx High School of Science and City College of New York, where he received a bachelor degree in Science. Dr. Scherr received his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently received a master’s in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh.
After moving to Massachusetts, he was an assistant professor at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Scherr has maintained his dental practice in Sterling since 1987.
He currently lives in Lexington, MA, with his wife, two daughters and miniature schnauzer, Sammy. Dr. Scherr has been an avid Yankee fan since he was a boy. He enjoys running, biking, travel and thinks he is a pretty good cook.
Dr. Scherr continually updates his practice to offer the latest technology and clinical advances in Dentistry. He participates in study clubs and stays informed by attending many continuing …education courses throughout the year. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Seattle Study Club, Central Massachusetts Dental Implant Study Group and is a graduate of Pride Institute.
