Dr. Michael Angelo Schirripa, MD

This doctor is a con artist and very very careless let alone heartless. He is a scammer and will falsely write you off with symptoms and diagnosis that aren’t true. He deserves to rot in jail. Anybody that goes to him get a 2nd and 3rd opinion because this guy and anyone associated with him are all there for the money and not for the patient. (This is from a patient of his for 25 years)

He is an excellent Dr. Makes you feel relaxed and at ease.

He is highly unqualified and an actual psychopath. He told me at 5 weeks I was having an ectopic pregnancy and i might need to take a chemo pill to dissolve it. He has machines from so long ago that he cannot even see correctly. I went to a different dr. within 15 hours and they proved that the sac was not in my tubes and he was wrong. He no longer delivers babies thank god!!!! but he should not go any where near patients. My baby now has a heartbeat at 6.3 weeks. Thank god I knew he was a crazy person and didn’t believe him. I am loooking into how to report him but just want to warn others.

My first visit I was so happy to have found a doctor I thought was nice- it was still early but between my first and second visit and a trip to the ER for nausea and dehydration, my second visit was a nightmare. While crying how debilitating my nausea and vomiting I felt, I told the doctor I felt like I’m losing my mind to the point it’s enough to make someone suicidal- he then snapped at me saying that’s an issue do a different doctor. He brought in a nurse, older woman I think her name was Maureen. They both told me I am not suffering from hypermesis gravidarum which I was- and blew off any help I could get. He left the room after my sonogram which everything with the baby was normal. I told the nurse I don’t feel right, people should not be this sick all day every day and she asked me if I was feeling anxious about anything or do I take medication. I pleaded for help and she made my appointment for a different doctor one who delivers and sent me on my way with a sample bottle of… pills. Nobody attempted to see how I was wishing the next few weeks, nobody warned the next doctrine was feeling any distress. Honestly nobody cared. Hypermesis gravidarum is a real illness- TAKE YOUR PATIENTS SERIOUS. My next sonogram 2 weeks later my baby had no heartbeat. I’m not blaming my miscarriage on them but I’m saying they could have taken me serious when I pleaded for help and not treated like it was all in my head.

I have been in nowhere since the retirement of my GYN of 40 years+. I have jumped from one to the other and Dr. Schirrippa was recommend by a good friend. The appointment experience was better than one can expect. He is compassionate, understanding and human. I never felt that his motive was fees as I have found elsewhere. A genuine human being prior to being a physician.

Nice man. Knowledgeable, however, Gave me a horrible c section cut. 1 inch longer on one side. Said he would use scar from previous doctor which was very low, neat and nice and did not . One side of my stomach literally hangs.

Dr Shrippa is an amazing doctor. He is Smart and well educated. His nurses are very sweet and helpfull. Unfortunately his receptionist at his Brooklyn location (which is convenient for me) is unprofessional and extremely rude.

The worst Dr ever no compassion no knowledge like a robot. Terrible staff. Had a tubular pregnancy after seeing him at least 4 times and having sonograms he still wasn't sure what was going on . Don't trust this Dr. He also has some sanctions against him. Never called me after this to see how I was. His office only interested in co pays since I lost the baby. Disgusting!!!!

I believe he truly cares about his patients. He cared for me like he would his own daughter. I will be a patient of his for a long time.
