Dr. Michael Rimas Schoenberg, MD

My experience was horrible and frustrating. I came to USF to get an evaluation of my brain after a tbi, not able to return to my nursing career, I wanted to get recommendations from the dr going forward. What I got was a man who was disgruntled because I was taking so long with the testing which I didnt get to finish . He told me to go back to work and stop looking for a handout and go home. He yelled this as he left the small office we were in. Into the hall out into the building. He humiliated me in front of others. I didn't deserve that . I don't understand why a neuropsychologist would behave that. I have seen many reviews that shows this has been common practice for this dr. Poor for USF to have him on their staff

For the previous review I am shocked. Maybe they should look more at themselves rather than the doctor that is trying to help them. Dr. Schoenberg was thorough and professional. I have seen a few other that do what he does and he is by far the best!

When you have to see someone for one of these WORTHLESS evaluations, just say no thank you to the eval and this hack of a psychologist with his cocky, holier-than-though attitude. Testing, cognitive, memory, gait issues, all documented via testing. I am called back to this jerks office and of course the first words out of his mouth, "you're depressed". DUH DUDE!!!!! Save your time, your co-insurance money and dealing with this jacka$$. Opinions are like buttholes...everyone has one! Sad that he became a psychologist, as he would be better suited as a proctologist because he is a real a$$. He needs to stay away from patients. Maybe stick with being a research assistant?

It seems I had a similar experience to the other person who recently reviewed this doctor. He spent maybe 10 minutes with me, after I did a neuropsychiatric evaluation with an assistant. I suspect he is a Trump supporter and sympathizer, since he seemed to shut down after I made a negative comment about the current administration. Would not recommend visiting this physician for any reason.
