I saw Dr. Sclafani for chronic knee pain. He was very personable and informative. He went over my X-rays and showed me what I had and discussed it in great detail. I was very pleased with the efficiency of my visit all around.

Dr. Sclafani was terrific, thought I needed surgery on my knee and to my surprise Dr Michael told me it’s not necessary. Great news considering I am 55 years old and was not looking forward to the rehab…Dr Sclafani and Orthopaedics of Brielle are the best! Thank you for your professionalism and honesty.

I have seen Dr Sclafani for various ailments for close to 25 years and have also recommended him, My last 2 visits to him he let his assistant see me and barely poked his head in the examine room and I had several questions and when I was leaving saw him in his own personal office and he couldn’t even give me the time of day ! He prescribed physical therapy for me and did not even tell me about it And prescribed an ant inflammatory for me which I can not even take , I think it’s very sad when you have serious concerns and you can’t even get a Dr who will spend 30 seconds with you .

THE DAMAGE THIS PRACTICE CAUSED CANNOT BE FIXED BOTCHED SURGERY FROM UNAPOLOGETIC DOCTORS AND AN OBSTRUCTIVE STAFF. Both myself and my wife were sent here for workers compensation injuries and were both treated worse than cattle. Dr Ferenz attempted to fix a simple pinky injury, the result being I can never bend that finger again, he offered no reason for the unsuccessful surgery, no solution, and no apology for his terrible skills. Dr.Sclafani saw my wife who was injured at work subduing and inmate in a NJ State Prison. Dr Sclafani told "They want me to send you back, your going back to work" Despite her still being unable to perform her duties due to two badly injured knees. He WOULD NOT LISTEN TO A WORD SHE SAID. He was flat out degrading and apparently both these Drs. are given their orders by workers compensation insurance companies. Neither of them had any concern about our ability to actually return to work or our safety or others, They sent us back in unsafe conditions… with unhealed injuries. THE STAFF IS ATROCIOUS!! The office manger in the Toms River location has an extreme case of a god complex, Simple requests were met with nothing but rude refusals and her pushing blame on patients, NOT JUST US. While waiting forever in this office I saw many other patients have the same issues with her. SHE BULLIES PATIENTS, with threats of cancelled appointments and lack of care. WHICH SHE FOLLOWS THROUGH WITH. I KNOW THIS FIRST HAND OTHER REVIEWS SHOW THE SAME PATTERN RUN FROM THIS PLACE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT.
