Very nice Dr. At times there could be an improvement on wait times.That being said, he does take the time to talk to you.

I totally agree with the other posts about the rude receptionists at this office. I was treated very rudely both in person and on the phone. I only wish I have read these posts before seeing the doctor in this practice. I would definitely look elsewhere for an endocrinologist. Doctors should not turn a blind eye if they see or hear that one of their staff members are treating patients unprofessionally.

I agree with some of the other posts that the ladies at the front desk are so rude!! It is unfortunate that people may stop going there due their unprofessional and disrespectful behavior.

Dr. Shanik is awesome! He has been helping me with high prolactin and a pituitary tumor which has been a really upsetting experience for me to deal with. However, Dr. Shanik got me on the right meds. And 2 months later my levels are within normal range for the first time in years. His staff squeezed me in when I wasn't feeling well. I'm A nervous type patient and he answers ALL of my questions and never makes me feel bad for asking. Highly recommended! A professional DR. with good bedside manner who really knows his stuff! The staff is also all wonderful! Tiny bit of s wait but I never ever mind bc he takes a lot of time with his patients!

The lady at the front desk (brown hair) is a complete witch. I am hoping that the doctors in the practice read this review. She was totally rude and unpleasant. I almost can't believe how she talks to people. She is so disrespectful that you can't believe someone is really like this.

Went to see Dr. Shanik for the first time a week ago. Walked in with a severe migraine/vertigo and the staff was nothing but great to me! They put me in a back room where I could rest - and they checked on me every few minutes. When Dr.Shanik came in the room, he was very nice and calming! He listened to everything I had to say and did not judge me! Wonderful doctor!

Dr. Shanik is an incredibly wonderful doctor. He takes the time to listen to you, answer ALL of your questions without making you feel incompetent or stupid. He is very into research making his understanding of diabetes type 1 or 2 very accurate. He is always willing to hear what you have to say and never pushes anything on you your uncomfortable with. Absolutely great doctor! Highly Recommend!!

Best doctor ever, staff are so professional and courteous. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr Shanik is a very capable caring doctor.Very happy with him.However,the person who answers his phone and takes messages should take a training course in office etiquette,she really could put one off going there.
