Dr. Michael Gray Shell, DO

I needed surgery on my hip and was in terrible pain. I was on short-term disability. Dr Shell stated that when filling out paperwork became very angry stating, "I don't get paid for to do this" regarding physician statement. He informed me he would not be filling out anymore paperwork. TERRIBLE HUMAN BEING! Do not go to him!

Dr. Shell does not care about his patients and has no compassion of what it is like to be in pain. He sucks as a doctor!! DO NOT GO TO HIM!!

He will make you feel like he saved your life, then drop you like a hot potato. Michael Shell, like methadone clinics, does not care if you live or die, he just wants that cash............... ( who makes a patient pay 500$ for their own UAs?). I was really shocked as I continually recommended him to others, truly believing that he was THEE doctor for me........... Very clever way to make money off of peoples' addiction misery. He knows I am broke as a joke but made an emergency appt to see me in two weeks, when its usually a month, and I said I am broke til the first of the month. He said he would accept a personal post dated check. Dr Shell accept a check?? Hmmmmm, why so sudden, frantic and rule bending? I bet that pill pusher shreds more papers .........

The worst pain management doctor I have yet seen. Don't expect much help or sympathy here. Shell is only in it for the money.

Been going here over 4 years they always cared about me until the beginning of 2014. Then everything changed they cut all my meds in half within a month and started cutting me back month after month. They said they did it to all thier patients except cancer. Now I have to have my meds delivered to my door ( what if I'm not home?). I think he did something really bad. He doesn't care about helping people's quality of life. Warning do not go here there very heartless

Dr Shell takes the time needed to address all my concerns. He as well as his staff are caring and conscientious. I would highly recommend him.

Easy to get along with. Bedside manner (care) Dr. Shell does a great job identifying solutions and is very caring

I wouldn't ever recommend this man. Also, his staff is rude and hard to reach. He should stick with his skin care business...he certainly stinks as an addiction rehabilitation/pain doctor. He is very uninterested in his patients' problems. Take my word for it: see another doctor.
