Dr. Michael Steven Silverman, MD

I though I like Dr. Silverman until my father actually needed him. Once my father's issues increased, All questions go to voice mail, and I often would not get a call back. My last straw was when my father was having symptoms and I called to either get an appointment or see if the Dr would suggest another urinalysis. No One called me back. When I called his answering service, they hung up on me. When I finally received a call back from him. He asked to questions, was curt and told me that he was done with just "doing things on the fly" and that I would need to take my 84 year old father to the ER if he needed treatment. At the end of my father's life, this is not what we need. How uncaring and arrogant!

I needed an urgent appointment before leaving town and Dr. Silverman and his staff got me in 15 minutes before regular office hours. He diagnosed my bronchitis and got me on meds fast. I really appreciate his effort and care.

I recently needed an appointment for my mother who hasn't seen a doctor in years. I called Dr. Silverman's office and was given an appointment the same day. He was so kind to my mother and helped us both understand her medical problems. I highly recommend him.

Impossible to get anyone to answer the phone when calling for an appointment. Called because I had strep throat and my voice mail was returned 6 hours later to tell me they can only schedule me for and appointment the following week; this is simply unacceptable in the medical field... just ended up going to an urgent care. During my first appointment here the doctor was indifferent and seemed like he could care less... also, narrow minded and has a 70's mentality and certain arrogance about him. I'd rather go to an urgent care every time I need medical attention, than go back to Silverman.

What kind of doctor uses two fingers for a prostate exam as he inserted his fingers he told me this was the best part of his day with a big smile on his face he dug around in there for a moments I think he liked it a little too much im never going back again I fell like less of a man

Dr. Silverman is not interested in the person, just in making a cursory review. Doesn't care what may happen after the person leaves his office. Appears arrogant and uncaring. Did not take time to make sure he was understood by my elderly parent.
