Dr. Michael Alan Smith, MD

My experience with Dr Smith was a quick interview prior to a procedure. He was cordial 9and that's being kind) . But the vibe he exudes is not a good one. And it is difficult to know for the next hour that this Dr whom I just met is going to have my life in his hands. That's the frightening part. If he were a hair stylist or salesman you'd walk away but one can hardly do that in a situation where you are all hooked up. He didn't even show in the operating theatre- the nurse was called to see where he was and no one found him, so next thing I know the nurse is the one shooting the proforol? into my port. Not exactly a calming experience before 'Light's out' Was he there when I was having the procedure. Did they find him? Did he oversee my anesthesia? I'd like to know how to not request a certain Dr if one is in the hospital.
