Dr. Michael Evan Sokoloff

Dr. Michael Sokoloff is an orthodontist in White Plains, New York who specializes in providing superior orthodontic care to children and adults.  He has been voted by his peers as one of The 226 Top Dentists in Westchester County in the June 2011 issue of The Westchester Magazine.
Dr. Michael Sokoloff can best be described by his patients, friends and family as compassionate, motivated, diligent, and insightful.  He unconditionally cares about his patients and staff. 
Dr. Sokoloff has been practicing orthodontics since 2001.  He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, and earned a certificate in orthodontics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  Dr. Sokoloff worked at several orthodontic private practices in the metropolitan area upon graduation.  He started his own private practice here in White Plains in 2004.
Dr. Sokoloff is board-certified by the …American Board of Orthodontics.  He is the president of the White Plains Dental Forum.  Additionally, he is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics,  New York State Dental Association, Ninth District Dental Society,  Scarsdale Dental Society and the Eastchester Dental Society.  To stay current with the most modern clinical and diagnostic orthodontic techniques, he attends continuing education conferences and forums on a regular basis.
Dr. Sokoloff has a variety of hobbies and interests; including watching and playing sports, enjoying his favorite television programs and traveling with his wife and his two children.  He is actively involved in the fight against Lyme Disease as he participated in the first ever International Virtual Walk to Turn the Corner on Lyme on May15th.  All of the money is going towards education, research, innovative treatments and increasing awareness for Lyme Disease (For more information: www.turnthecorner.org).  His greatest love is spending time with his family.  Dr. Sokoloff and his wife, Alyssa, live in Westchester with their son and daughter.
