Dr. Michael John Sorna, MD

Dr. Sorna is a highly skilled psychiatrist. He truly understand how treatment works as a mutual understanding between doctor and patient. He understand that people are experts in their own lives and works within those confines. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Sorna isn't the kindest doctor that I have ever met but he truly cares about rehabilitating his patients. When dealing with addiction and mental health, you need a doctor that knows what is best and isn't afraid of approaching it with firmness and determination. I felt truly rehabilitated with my addiction and he called me out when I was trying to take advantage of him. He was what I needed and what most addicts need! Thank you Dr. Sorna!

I went to see Dr. Sorna, and I agree with what the earlier reviewer said. He spent most of the time talking about himself, and by the time I left the appointment he had me (a 1-2 light beers a few days a week drinker) thinking I was a full-blown alcoholic! His "bedside manner" would rate a 0. You can do better.

I have seen quite a few psychiatrists in my life and I can say without a doubt that Dr. Sorna is the best one I have ever met with. He helped me get started on my path to sobriety, as well as stay on and maintain it.
