Dr. Michael William Spangler, DO

Very rude, lazy in treatment options. Did not want to hear about previous diabetic treatment and just wanted to obnoxiously tell me what he wanted to do. When I told him I was planning on following a very strict diet protocol and change my lifestyle (which is not easy to do), he responded with “you’re just trying to take the easy way out.” What the heck?? He is completely absurd and rude. This was my second appointment and after this I never went back. He refused to acknowledge previous treatment results and what had great results and what didn’t. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I like being able to see this professional as needed and in the event he is not available, I can always see a Nurse Practioner. My wait time is usually less than 10 minutes, and the one time I had to wait longer I was told it would be an additional 10 minutes. The staff is nice and I feel I spend an adequate time with the Dr.

Dr. Spangler has been my doctor for several years. He is thorough and listens to his patients. I have been totally satisfied with his care.

Misdiagnosed me. I came back the next day because I was worse and he refused to see me. The nature of my illness could have damaged my hearing. Time was of the essence. It was a just before a holiday weekend. His staff was great. He was anything but.

I have experienced reason to trust the judgment and caring quality of Dr. Spangler. I have been his patient for many years.

Spangler should give it up. He misdiagnosed my migraines for over two years. I finally went to the Cleveland Clinic where I was diagnosed with migraine and found I could get off of daytime insulin. My c-peptide was .9 when I first saw Spangler. In Cleveland the C-Peptide was 3.4This test should have been done several times the first year on insulin. Spangler would get very defensive when I questioned him and pressed for answers. His nurse is also rude.

D. Spangler helped save my life by finding a problemm sending me to a Cartiologist who performed an operation - successfully.

Came up with a completely incorrect diagnosis which he was absolutely certain of. A little testing and effort would not have cause him to get it so wrong.

Cares more about saving money than saving lives.
