I was very happy with my eye exam by Dr Spedick. He has a great chair side manner. It was a very thorough exam. Everyone I came in contact in the office was very personable. Definitely a 5 star experience

My 5 year old son had an exam with Dr. Spedick. He appeared to be patient and thorough with the process. The staff within the office was kind and overall good experience.

We’ve been seeing Dr. Spedick at the Toms River office for 30+ years, and he is patient, thorough, professional and pleasant. Usually we can say the same about the staff too. Today however there was a very rude (new?) receptionist (Betsy?) who told me to sit down before she even greeted me or asked my name. When I tried to give her my name to check in for my appointment she continued to dismiss me. A different receptionist then helped me and was pleasant in the manner we are accustomed to. I hope the office manager will monitor Betsy’s behavior and re-train her, as we observed her be unnecessarily rude to another patient today as well. She seems quite miserable and her demeanor is bad for business.

Dr Spedick is a very thorough doctor. He has a wealth of knowledge and is a very personable person. He also fully explains his assessment and course of care. He has been managing my eye care for years. Their diagnostic equipment and office is state of the art. Dr Spedick is one of the top doctors in his field. Rich F

Ocean Eye Institute is a very well run office. From check-in, through testing and the doctor’s exam, the staff is prompt, informative and professional. Doctor Spedick explains the tests and results and will answer any questions. I leave the office knowing my status and with a plan for the next appointment. A positive experience each visit.
