Dr. Michael Edward Spidel, DO

Dr. Spidel is always there to talk to and more. His easy style makes iit easy to talk to him. A kind soul.

Dr. Spidel has always responded to my phone calls immediately. He makes time in his busy schedule to see me as soon as possible (within 2-3 days of my call). Dr. Spidel does not only care about the patient, but the family as a whole. Wonderful doctor and friend.

Spidel inherited Lasarow's office and practice, and I began seeing him when Lasarow passed several years ago. Spidel has short, aimless appointments during which he often talks about himself, and he is boring and not very bright. He has many many wealthy patients and has no need to provide any real service to anyone, except to meet with them occasionally and provide them with whatever drugs they ask for. It's hard to reach him, and he employs an answering service instead of an office assistant or secretary.

Works well with my daughter. Has provided excellent insights that have helped her manage teenage challenges.

I've looked long and hard for a psychiatrist and few are as professional as Dr. Spidel. He worked with me and my child and helped us greatly in a challending time in our lives. Making an appointment was easy particulary as he answers and promptly returns his own calls.

I am the parent of a student/young adult who has been seeing Dr. Spidel after going through quite a few other therapists and psychiatrists in the past. Although I am not privy to the details of these sessions, this seems to be working and we are very grateful for his expertise.
