He been a good listener with my husband and I, he’s a good doctor care about his patients

My father was admitted to a hospital in Georgia with low potassium, he is a heart doctor and had been prescribed a large amount of lasix which was causing dehydration and loss of potassium. I brought my dad back to Charleston and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Steele. He reviewed my fathers medical chart changed his lasix dose and has felt incredible ever since. Dr. Steele listened and was very compassionate with the care of my father. Recommend Dr. Steele for all age patients.

I personally liked him, got along with him, was sorry he left. He always listened and discussed things with me and never put me in a so called box with other patients.

Dr. Steele decided to taper me off my long standing medication very quickly without any collaboration. Instead of directly answering me, he claimed others were acting on his behalf. He never sent one message until I addressed this issue. He also recklessly put me on one medication I had to stop taking and the other one he tried throwing me on had worse side effects-I never took it. Then he decided rather than address any issues he just he was going to discharge. I have a screen shot of every item and when he responded, which was 4 days too late. This ER visit is on him. Shame on him and MUSC. He is not a good doctor at all. Good luck...he will take your money though.
