This place tried to convince me they have a real concern for people who are poor and need mental health services. I'v been through a great deal of trauma and have trouble holding down a job and also have children to support without any help from my ex. What they did was give me there sermon about careing and when I said I didnt want some services because I cannot afford them my therapist told me not to worry about it because they have sponsers for this sort of situation that I wouldn't need worry about a bill. Also I cannot drive and my therapist offered me rides home. I offered her gas money and she told me to hold onto my money because she just wanted to help. After months and months of a secret bill pileing up that I did not know about, my therapist started acting really bazar. She told me she couldnt make it to appointments we had and that she would get back to me and she new I was dealing with a crisis and was consistantly reaching out for help (they usually are not available on… there 24 hour crisis line btw) She wouldnt get back to me about said appointemtns after weeks. It was me calling and nagging her several times until one day I just got a call where she said "I got moved to a different facility through DBH that dosnt take your services oh and btw you might want to check with billing there is a bill for you. It was so heartless. So I check with billing and no one can tell me anything about a sponser who helps pay for people like me to get help. after talking back and fourth to different people for about a week they make this great deal with me to discount my bill so I am paying about 50 less. Its still 150 and I just couldnt pay for it they knew that and its not that I initially wanted or expected free services to begin with but I at first told them know and then they convinced me so they couldnt make more money off me not because they care. I had so many things on there that did not even specify what I was paying for. I had to ask around and only got an explanation for part of it was a charge they gave me for my therapist (who was being charitable lol) giving me rides. If you are looking for mental health services and are not totally covered by insurence (disability medicaid) dont believe them when they act sympathetic and tell you about all the wonderfull services they have and not to worry about a bill. They will just surprise you one day and god only knows what they are charging you for because they think its ok to not tell you. They really don't care about people. This is a corperation they care about money.
