Dr. Michael Ronald Stoesz, MD

During a physical, he determined that I was type-2. My A1C was normal, my glucose was a bit high by normally wasn't too bad. I was prescribed Metformin. I was also prescribed Lisnopril in the same appt for blood pressure. He mentioned at the time how the two might interact and said he would look into it and get back to me. He did not alter any medications beyond that, keeping me on Hydrochlorothiazide and a potassium supplement. Within two weeks, my blood pressure bottomed out and my kidney counts were WAY off. I ended up in the hospital, which identified what I feared - the two new meds didn't play well in my system and caused a kidney issue that was a week from failure. And I wasn't type 2 after all. As I suspected. Nearly $10000 later in hospital bills, I"m on the hook for $2k of that. For an error on his part. The staff at the clinic are always good, but I will never see this doctor again.

I will not be seeing this doctor again. All he wanted to do was rush me out the door. I was in pain during a particular procedure he was performing on me, and he did not seem to care one bit. He did not ask me how I was doing the entire time and seemed to get annoyed at any questions I had. The nurse and staff on the other hand were terrific!

In my case Dr. Stoesz went far beyond what I anticipated for my medical issue. He was very thorough. He telephoned me after the weekend passed to see how I was feelig. something that not many physicians do. I would recommend Dr. Stpesz to any one!
