Dr. Michael Dennis Stone, MD

I saw Dr. Stone the first time when I was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer around 1980. I credit him for saving my life several times over the years. After that I had a gall bladder operation which he said was the worst he ever saw. I then developed cancer in the other breast which he treated after a bag was put on for diverticulum condition. Without him and his creative approach I don't think I would be alive today. I'm sorry you moved but all must follow their inclinations. Thank you again for wonderful treatment and I'm still here.

Two years ago, I visited Dr. Stone for a second opinion after being diagnosed with breast cancer. He made a profound statement to me that made me realize how important it was for me to go through with chemotherapy. I am cancer free two years later!

I can not say enough good things... a great doctor, excellent surgeon! I have worked with him through several complication procedures, including having him do a liver resection. My outcome has been amazing and he was very good at communicating every aspect, good or bad.

Dealing with Dr.Stone was one of the worst experiences of my life. He has absolutely no bedside manner or empathy for his patients. Never in my life would I recommend Dr. Stone to anyone I know. My advice to him is to realize that his patients have feelings as does their families. He delivered the worst news of my Mother's life to her while she was alone after waking her up at 7:00 a.m. I truely feel bad for this man that he has such a sad life.

I have known Dr. Stone and his staff since 1998. While I would like to say that I only needed his help only once, the fact is that I have needed his help a couple of times since. Everytime I have interacted with him and the staff at Boston Medical Center, I have come away in amazement. He is a World-Class medical professional who has been blessed with an unbelievable gift. Each time Dr. Stone has met with me and treated my cancers, it was with the utmost professionalism such that I left his office feeling like I spent time with an old and caring friend. All the time knowning I was in the hands of one of the world's best surgeons. His approach to medicine as supported by his Office Staff and everyone at the Boston Medical Center has left me with nothing but fond memories. This, during a time when I felt my life was in extreme jepardy. What more can someone asked for?

Dr. Stone is a caring, compassionate surgeon. It has been 10 years since my surgery and I'm grateful for his expertise.
