Dr. Michael Patrick Swords, DO

Dr Swords is an excellent physician and surgeon. He spends time with his patients, explains the problem, is willing to answer questions, and is very kind. He’s the BEST!

From start to finish extremely satisfied with my big toe fusion, Wendy and Dr Swords absolute professionals!

My experience was lower than the average. Part of this is due to the long wait time in the exam room (~45 minutes) and mostly because his explanation of my MRI results was hurried and his recommendation was basically live with the pain as healing is slow. When asked if I should come back if the pain didn't subside after six months he mostly shrugged. He did clarify that a cortisone injection was not called for as it could cause more damage. Being charitable, I'm guessing he was running behind due to difficult cases before me and so wanted to keep my appointment short - but this was never mentioned.

From scheduling the initial appointment to post surgery care, it was smooth and comforting. All the staff was polite and helpful in making sure I had no questions along the way.

Dr Swords was great. During a tragic time in my life he fixed my right foot so well that I am able to do most of my normal life activities. It was a complex issue that a lot of times does not end well.. He did a wonderful job him and his team are very informative, took very good care of me and he will be the only Ortho Doc I go to going forward. Thank you Dr for all you and your team did for me to allow me return to my normal life activities..

Dr. Swords was very good at explaining his findings. He let me ask questions explained it. Had to wait a little in the room but he didn’t rush his findings. I’d definitely go back to him.

I arrived at the office at 945am. I sat in the waiting room for several minutes. once in the room, I waited quite some time. When Dr finally arrived, we talked, and compared notes and scans from my previous Dr. He explained things clearly and did not rush his time with me. He.did not rush his time with me, even though he was running behind.

Always available for question and very clear on procedures and instructions. Very good manner when consulting as well. Never feel rushed.

Dr. Swords has been incredibly helpful, even given my complicated foot and ankle problems. He listens well, does not rush exams, and puts everything he can into finding the right solution--surgery or otherwise. I highly recommend Dr. Swords.
