Dr. Michael Frederick Tiffany, DO

Dr. Tiffany just started at our local WI clinic & I attempted to see him for an OB appointment due to some cramping & mild fevers. His office sent me to the ER instead of seeing him. The ER did an ultrasound but could not identify a fetal pole as I was just over 5 weeks along & baby was too small. We returned for a follow up with Dr. Tiffany at 7 weeks, 3 days & before any bloodwork was back he was rude and told me there was no baby & I had miscarried. I pushed for an ultrasound which he performed vaginally and he could not find the baby. We were left in a room for an hour alone being told we had miscarried & were just waiting on bloodwork. When my HCG came back high & perfect I was finally sent to radiology where the ultrasound tech found the baby through abdominal ultrasound immediately & baby had a heart beat. Myself & my partner went through and hour & a half of Dr. Tiffany’s rude bedside manner only to be asked to return the next day. He never apologized when I returned,… prescribed a medication for nausea which causes birth defects (which he told me he uses regularly), & he refused to release my medical records from the night before so I could provide my bloodwork results to my next OB because there is no way I will return to being a patient of his. Please be cautious about seeing this provider.

I was kind of pushed to be a patient of Dr. Tiffany's because my previous doctor left the practice. My first appointment with him went fine; I went in because I was having contractions and light bleeding, and I decided to stay with him. The following visits were when things turned for the worse. I had gained weight (right on schedule with what my first doctor said) and he obsessed over it; saying I "ballooned in weight" and I should "lay off the sweets, carbs and I should walk more." When I told him that I religiously monitor my water and food intake as well as my activity, I asked him what else I should do. He replied that I was doing everything I was supposed to and I should keep doing what I'm doing, but I should 'watch your weight.' He then accused me of not doing certain things such as eating too much sugar and not keeping clean, which my husband even backed me up and said that was the case. He was very rude with the exam and said to me, "Well, hopefully you pass this gestational… diabetes test." (Which I did, by the way, with flying colors.) He made my husband and I feel so uncomfortable. He was not helpful or kind at all; he didn't listen to what I was saying and acted as though I was an annoyance to him. He didn't offer me guidance and brushed all my questions to the side. Needless to say, I've switched doctors again. Please, never go to him. He is a horrible man and doctor.

Dr. Tiffany was my doctor through all 3 of my pregnancies. He was great! He felt like family. He genuinely cared for me and my well being.

Hatchet man made 6 years of my life a nightmare. His ego is larger than him. Does not inspect proper sterilization of his equipment. Inept bedside manner. I am LUCKY TO BE ALIVE TODAY!

LOVE HIM! He delivered my first and super disapointed that he moved and wont be able to follow anymore of my pregnancies.

Dr. Tiffany performed a hysterectomy on me. I believe him to be an extremely skilled surgeon. He is passionate about what he does and takes pride in his work. He was a little rough around the edges in manner and was unnecessarily graphic with a description of a procedure that he was recommending against. And what I needed him to deliver on, he did beautifully.

Our daughter was determined to delivery "naturally." She was 2+ weeks overdue; baby was large, and got stuck in the birth canal with shoulder dystocia. This is a huge emergency, but he knew what to do and was able to dislodge the baby and get baby delivered with no residual after-effects. This malady can lead to cerebral palsy, brachial nerve damage and even infant mortality. I'm very thankful for his expertise.

I see reviews that he was rude to a lot of people but he was very nice and respectful to me.

Instead of paying attention to what he was doing during the Csection with my daughter, he felt the need to discuss a recent football game with the other dr in the room. Subsequently improprely sutering up me internally during the surgery. Infection developed almost immediately and he cared less and sent me home with no regard to the increasing redness and pain. Less than a week later I was in the emergency room with my staples very infected and my wound almost completely open and looking very bad. Ended up having to have an in home nurse come and change my bandages for 6 weeks, visit a wound specialist for 3 months and wear a infection sucking machine attached to my wound for most of that time 24 hours a day. It was almost three months before I could truly try to return to some normal life and pickup and play with my baby. By this time I had virtually missed that first three months which can never be replaced. Never went back to him EVER!

I THINK HE WAS THE BEST OB/GYN DOCTOR IN WISCONSIN..... TO BAD HE LEFT,NOW I HAVE TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR!!!!
