Dr. Michael Dr Travers, MD

DE travers isn't a family practice, it's a junkie fest, first of all I went there for pain thinking the specialty was pain management, but after I was put on subutex to treat the pain I was then a junkie myself or at least classified as one since that is a drug to treat heroin addicts. The pain contract states that you can't associate with other clients, but I thought this was a family practice? When I asked if my husband which whom I am estranged but working on a relationship with could be seen due to his anxiety issues, thinking it would be good if the same dr seen the whole family very upfront about us being family therefore associated they made his appointment then seem him and dismissed us both. Claiming I breeched my contract for being associated. Technically they breeched my contract and gave me 2 days notice of cancelling my appt when I'm on a medicine that only a small amount of Dr's can perscribe and are limited by how many patients they can have on the medicine, sadly… no other dr in a 100 mile radius can see me and one I'm out I'm going to go through what I'm told are as bad as heroin withdrawal since it's an opiate based medicine.

This is my best doctor. He has made all the difference for my wife and her depression, too.
