Dr. Michael Treanor, MD

The staff was very friendly and professional.Dr. Treanor was right on tome and came in before my procedure to be sure I understood everything. He was in the procedure room when I got there and talked with me as They were getting me ready. After the procedure he came back and told me everything he had found. Dr. Treanor is the only doctor I trust to complete my procedure.

He explained everything well he allowed me to ask as many question also made me feel very comfortable

Condescending and rude. The staff mixed up my file with another patient, not once, but three times. The only staff in the entire wing was the woman drawing blood. One nurse smelled like stale beer and kept yawning while going over my file, which she had wrong...again. Dr. Treanor even got the wrong file pulled up on his screen and gave me the diagnosis of someone else. Extremely poor and uncaring office.

I wish I could give no stars. This was the worst experience I've ever had going to a doctor. His office staff mixed up my file with another patient, not once, but three times. Every time I came in for an appointment, they asked if I was still taking Ativan and Ritalin, neither I have EVER been on. The staff continually told me nothing was wrong after my colonoscopy, then I would get a letter stating that I had colitis. I asked what I could do to help with the colitis (eating, stress, meds) and the staff kept giving me more appointments to see someone different in the office. The nurse practitioner was terrible, and Dr. Treanor kept calling me by the wrong name and talked down to me as if I was stupid. Never again. If this were the last gastroenterology department in the world, I would suffer in silence.

Dr Treanor was very personable with me before my procedure and very personable with my wife and me afterward. He took time to explain results and recommend follow-up.

I think he knows his stuff, but he’s not great at listening and not empathetic. I finally got fed up when I couldn’t get treatment in any sort of timely manner for problems that were interfering with my life, despite having been a patient with known issues, so I left.

He was very rude and condescending . Withdrew from allowing him to treat me as a patient
