Dr. Michael Todd Tucciarone, MD

Dr. Tucciarone and his office staff's negligence and lack of urgency killed my dad in January. He was only 64. He failed his stress test and went into stroke mode, yet was not sent to an ER or given any solutions. Putting someone in distress on a rigorous treadmill instead of doing an angiogram is negligent. He was short of breath, had chest and jaw pain and not sent to an ER. He was given a false sense of security seeing this "doctor" for months and Tucciarone wasn't even smart enough to schedule him for the basics, like a CT scan. Tucciarone did not provide solutions and wasted time joking with him that he needed to get a divorce to take stress off his heart. 4 hours before he passed the office FINALLY called back after weeks of waiting to schedule him a catheterization for 12 days later. Tucciarone went to medical school in Barbados because he couldn't get into med school in the U.S., which tells you all you need to know about how good he is at medicine.

Dr. Tucciarone takes the time to listen to your concerns, explains items clearly, and will follow-up on items. He appears to be extremely knowledgeable not only in his own area of specialty but in other areas as well. He made rounds in the hospital early and consistently on time. I would recommend him to my best friend.

he is very caring and motivating

I was admitted to Beaumont Hospital Troy in early 2018 with a pulmonary embolism and enlarged heart. Dr. T was my primary cardiologist assigned to my case. He was very professional. Not stuffy at all, but explained my case to me and seemed very interested in getting me better. He is my cardiologist after my recovery and continues to monitor me.

During my stay at Troy Beaumont, I was blessed to be assigned to Dr. Tucciarone. I could not have had a better doctor for my heart issues. I find Dr. Tucciarone the utmost professional, leader in his field and a Doctor who actually takes his time and cares about his patient. Trust is primary with me. There is no one I trust more with my health than Dr. Tucciarone. Not only have I recommended him, but I would not change Dr. Tucciarone for any reason. His staff is friendly and wonderful too. Very blessed and happy with my Doctor!
