Dr. Michael J Tucker JR., DO

My husband went to his office Thursday, with 2 broken legs and needs screws and plates put in. When we made the appointment, we were under the impression Dr. Tucker would be in the office to talk to us and schedulethe surgery. About 45mins into the appointment (after x-rays) we asked when the doctor would come in. That's when the PA told us the Doctor is rarely in office because he's busy in surgery. Then asked could he take pictures of my husband's legs to send to the doctor at which he pulled out his cell and began texting photos to the doctor. The PA said " The doctor liked your pictures. He'll see you the day of sergery." We asked when is surgery. The PA answered "Monday, we will call you with a time." I'm not too firmiliar with pre-op protocol but I'm sure meeting/speaking to your paitent for the first time, just moments before a surgery isn't ideal or in my opinion professional. Neither is judging photos of patients injuries through txt, or not a definitive time for surgery.

Such a one on one style and courtesy

I had surgery in May I met his Pa a week before surgery. The day of surgery I was prepared in Oreos they were going to take me into the or and had givin me a shot of something then I said am I not even going to meet this dr before hand. He came 20 min after the scheduled time of the surgery and said he was at a meeting. I have been back to his office 5 times since then for reoccurring abbesses from the subcutaneous sutures and I haven’t seen him at any of them. So if you want an anonymous Dr. go to him for all your trauma needs

Dr. Tucker put my leg and ankle back together when no one would touch it . He was willing to try. His team and the Hospital are awesome could not of got better care!!
