Dr. Michael Tumbarello graduated from the University of Connecticut Dental School in 1997. He moved to Winston-Salem, NC, where he continued his education at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital as a hospital dentist. He began his dental practice in 1998, where his interest is in complete family dental care for patients of all ages. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, and the NC Dental Society. He served for four years on the executive board for the Second District Dental Society as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President, and on the peer review board. Dr. Tumbarello also served in the Blue Ridge Dental Society as Secretary/Treasurer for a year, and President for two years. He has been involved in community events such as the Give Kids a Smile program since 1999. Dr. Tumbarello has been married to his wife since 1995 and has three children. He enjoys being involved in local activities such as coaching his children's sports …teams, and he is an avid runner and triathlete. Keep an eye out for him on the roads of Surry County, because you might see him training for his next event.
