Dr. Vaughan is an active member of the Nashville Dental Society, the Tennessee Dental Association (Alternate Delegate 1996-1998. Delegate from 1992-2002) and the American Dental Association. Dr. Vaughan received the designation “Fellow†in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1999 and was Editor for the Tennessee Academy of General Dentistry from 1999-2004.
Dr. Vaughan learned the technique of intravenous or IV Sedation at Vanderbilt University and holds a Comprehensive Conscious Sedation License to use both oral & IV conscious sedation in the practice of dentistry. He is certified in both Basic Life Support & Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
