Dr. Michael Lee Villano, MD

My Mom saw Dr. Villano. She had a stress test that was abnormal and they said she needed a heart cath. Took a couple of weeks for Humana to approve. Took a couple of weeks for them to get her on the schedule. Then they cancelled due to "staffing problems." That was five weeks ago. I have called and left a message once a week for the past three weeks, left both my number and hers (she does not understand or remember what they say). No one has bothered to call back. They were nice when we were in the office but this is rude, uncaring, and frustrating.

I have had 4+ appts with Dr Villano - ER: chest pains; Arterialgram (pre & post); at least 2 visits in the hospital after a quad-bypass; 2 follow up appts in his office and 2 appts with his Nurse Practitioner. The only complaint I can raise is that he speaks quickly and softly. But the fact that I have perpetual sinus/allergy problems and 4 tone Tinnitus doesn’t help. I’m very happy with Dr. Villano’s care and his office staff as well.

He takes the time to answer all questions and he has an excellent nurse that is attentive, helpful, and available when needed. Dr. Villano and Dusti are the perfect team for patients!

He understands your concerns and tries to explain and takes the time to let you understand what is wrong with you and what to do about it. Very nice person. His nurse Dusty is the greatest!

Had to redo pacemaker, give Medine, but had no record of it.

Very rude ..doesn't work with patient.does not want to listen and has a bully attitude.

I was given a EKG by the nurse and the DR immediately upon entering the examining room without any other words said "YOU HAVE HAD A HEART ATTACK". I asked for a review of the chart and all I was able to get was a quick view of a computer screen which did not show me anything. Upon asking to review the paper chart he said " the nurse probably hooked up the contacts incorrectly and that if I had another heart attack to let him know". I will never trust my body to this doctor again.
