Outstanding in every way . He has helped our son get his life back and walk again without pain. He had his back is straightened and reinforced to hold his height. On top of this our adult son is learning disabled which the staff was so kind in accommodating. Doctor Virk is a confident and kind neurosurgeon and the best in his class. We are ever, ever grateful to him and his colleagues who have helped our son through the last two years .

My virtual visit with Dr.Virk was really helpful. He took the time to listen to all my concerns, answered every question I had, and clearly explained what's going on after the surgery. He even showed me everything on the scan,which made it much easier to understand. He prescribed a new medication and ordered some important tests.I left the appointment feeling truly cared for and reassured. I'm very thankful to Dr.Virk for his attention, patience and understanding. And most of all, thank you for the surgery!

Dr. Virk is a phenomenal doctor. For 7 years I suffered with severe neck pain, had zero balance, was numb in my both hands, I had no feeling in my neck and on my left side. I went to 4 doctors who said they could do nothing for me, go to pain management and take drugs. My daughter Jaclyn had a 3 level fusion in her C-spine which was a total success due to Dt. Virk”s expertise!!!!! Great surgeon!!!!! My daughter recommended I see Dr. Virk. Dr, Virk performed a 7 level fusion on my C-spine. This amazing doctor gave me back my life. The numbness went away as soon as I woke up from his 10 hour surgery. I have my balance back and can walk again. I have feeling back in my hands. Dr. Virk ‘s team visited with me every day , 3 times a day. They were informative and knowledgeable about my post operative care. Dr. Virk is not only a highly skilled doctor but has a great bed side manner, deeply cares, attentive, kind and it was divine intervention meeting him. Dr. Virk is great. The in-office wait time is a little long but I suspect that's because Dr. Virk does rush through his appointments. I’ve been going down the spinal surgery highway for 10 years. I've met with surgeons who didn't find my case interesting enough to look up from their paperwork, had two bad surgeries, requiring two to fix what was done, and surgeons who were just blah. Dr. Virk took the time to have a long, thorough discussion with me about my lumbar injury. He said that I was not a good candidate for surgery and went over the gamete of eastern and western treatment options that have the potential to help. I appreciated Dr. Virk’s knowledge as well as his ability to explain that the field is always changing, so what’s considered the standard of care today, might be outdated soon. I also appreciated that Dr. Virk does not take a one-size-fits-all approach to the spine. I highly recommend Dr.Virk for anyone having chronic spinal issues, and looking for a knowledgeable… doctor, whose agenda is to do what’s best for the patient, not push surgery!

During my appointments with Dr Virk - first, he will review the previous notes, has my MRI results available to further explain, if necessary and gives me time to explain my current symptoms - goes over my diagnosis and educates me on my issues..Dr Virk is professional and answers all my questions…Shilpa has been very helpful and the entire team goes above and beyond to help answer all my questions..Thank you..Dawn S.

I couldn't walk when I went to the emergency room because the pain in my left leg was so severe. After an MRI I met Dr Virk & he said a cyst was pressing on my spinal nerve & causing the pain down my leg. He recommended that his pain management team burst the cyst as I wanted to avoid surgery. He said it would likely come back but we could see what happened. I got great relief for 6 weeks & then the severe pain came back & the cyst was back when they did another MRI scan. He said we could try to burst it a second time as I still did not want surgery, & I only had relief for a week this time and then decided to go ahead with the surgery he had been offering which was a microscopic cyst removal. I wish I hadn't waited so long & been in agony for months! I'm 84 so I stayed in hospital overnight & the care from the nurses, & the knowledge & expertise of his PA & resident team was excellent. Their new spine unit is absolutely beautiful, & the physical therapists were also great.

Hands down Dr. Michael Singh Virk is exceptional, professionally and extremely personable. He truly demonstrates genuine concern and attentively listens to ensure accurate diagnosis. I highly recommend him. His staff is also exceptional as well at his offices during every visit.
