Dr. Michael J Warner, DO

My family and I have been under the care of Michael and Margaret Warner since 2005. They have been the best family doctors that my family and I have ever been associated with. Their expertise in the field of medicine was superior in all of our medical situations. Any time my family, including my parents and my siblings ever had a problem, they always had the right diagnosis and the right treatment. They are very thorough in their exams and you never feel rushed. If we had to see a specialist they would never send us anywhere where they wouldn't go themselves. When I had what was found on an MRI to be a life threatening situation, I was able to talk to Michael after office hours. When seen in the office he crossed all the t's and dotted all the i's to make sure nothing was left out. I was sent immediately for tests and x-rays. The following day (Saturday) the office was closed but Michael called me at home .. went over my test results and acted accordingly. He saw me… several times in the office and repeated tests over the next several weeks. He is a very conscientious, concerned, and a real genuine human being. His patients are not a number .. he makes you feel like someone and he cares about your well being. Margaret had treated my parents for a few years until their deaths and during those years both were extremely grateful for her medical expertise (my family has always felt that our parents were able to live a few years longer because of their medical care while under Margaret's care. Also to add: Their office staff is friendly and helpful. If any of my family fell sick and needed to be seen by the doctor, they would get us in right away. I give these two doctors a 10 star rating :)

Several years ago after I began working for the Commonwealth of PA, I needed to find a primary care physician once I became eligible for the insurance. I never went to a doctor on a regular basis but knew that as I aged, it would become a ritual. I was referred to Dr. Warner by some friends and this began a long relationship with one of Ebensburg's most upfront, caring, and personal physicians that I have experienced. Dr. Mike has been very cordial at each visit and we discuss my statistics along with any medical updates that he may have to pass along. I can't say enough about this man but he has meant more to me than just my doctor. He has become a friend as well, a very good friend I might add. Now I only had one visit with his wife, Dr. Margaret, but she also delivered the same approach as Dr. Mike. It's almost as thought they are able to read each other's thoughts. And that's a good thing. On my last visit and I know it has been over a month, Dr. Mike informed me of some news… that I was not prepared to hear. He would be taking a leave of absence to spend time with his wonderful wife and do some travel and things that only he and Dr. Margaret will share. I applaud his actions and know that as I approach those golden years, I too need to take a leave of absence from every day life just to enjoy what life has to offer. Good for you Dr. Mike. Take care of yourself and Dr. Margaret. I will miss our conversations and your down home medical advice. God bless and may you find joy in each day.

Doctor Mike has been my PCP for about 12 years. He is, without a doubt, the reason I am able to write this review. He has saved my life at least 3 times. He is a very caring, meticulous physician. He is always upbeat and friendly. He takes as much time as necessary to make sure I understand his diagnosis. He has called me personally to explain something. I am 68 years old and in excellent health. Doctor Mike is the reason.

Dr Michael Warner has been my entire family's doctor ( mine, my husband,children, in-laws), for over 20 years!!! The time he spends going over your blood work and health issues is second to none! We always feel special (definitely not just another number). He is bright and caring-not like any doctor we've ever had!! Once, when we had an especially unusual problem, he came in so prepared after researching it more thoroughly the night before!

Dr. Mike has been my family physician for over twenty years. I have the utmost respect for his care of myself and my family. He is bright, compassionate, a great listener and very realistic in his diagnoses and treatment plans. I recommend Mike without reservation.

Dr. Mike Warner and his team provide OUTSTANDING service with an emphasis in the core competencies of medical care. His expertise ranges from "cutting edge" superior medical knowledge to excellent communication and professional skills. I absolutely love the fact that he really LISTENS to his patient and shows a personal interest in each individual's situation. He makes every effort to respond with options including written goals with references. His staff knows everyone by name and they are very friendly. As a priest who ministered in Cambria country, PA, for over thirty years, I speak on behalf of many of my parishioners who were also Dr. Warner's patients. He has a wonderful reputation and is loved by all. Due to medical reasons, I had to move to a warmer climate. I must confess that I have yet to find another doctor that comes close to him in terms of not only his competency but also his demeanor and sincere compassionate treatment of his patients. I got spoiled with him as… my physician and I miss him greatly.

Dr. Warner is very competant doctor. He treats the whole person and he also spends time explaining details to you.
