Dr. Michael Stuart Warren, MD

I've experienced two pregnancies with my wife now, met many OBGYNs in the process and have never seen someone who could care less more than this man. Beaumont should be ashamed for hiring him. Do whatever you can to stay away from him.

I was seen in triage by Dr. Warren. I went into triage at 9 months pregnant and 3 days away from my c-section. I was having a hard time walking from severe pelvic pain and he came in fav me morphine and said I was experiencing a symptom of 9 months being pregnant and that I needed to go home. After my husband and I expressed our concerns about the pain level, he saI’d I shouldn’t want to stay because I have to be back in three days. He was so rude as I payed there crying from the pain. So disappointed in him.

I visited Dr Warren for a prenatal checkup. In our initial sit-down, I explained to him that I wasn't feeling well and had been experiencing some bleeding. He proceeded to ask me about how I wanted to give birth and whether I wanted to breastfeed, basically dismissing my concerns about what was happening to me in that moment. During the ultrasound, there was no heartbeat and the baby measured much smaller than it should. Dr Warren suggested I come back in a week. I explained to him that I was confident in my dates, and I knew I was having a miscarriage. He ushered me away with no explanation of what to do or expect if I ended up miscarrying. The next day, I experienced severe bleeding and passed out several times. I ended up spending two days in the hospital and received several units of blood. I know that Dr Warren could not have prevented these occurrences, but he could have prepared me for what to do if something was wrong. During my follow-up with him, he was very… belittling, dismissive of my questions, and gave me a look of horror when I tried to explain my experience to him. He treated the most traumatic experience of my life as a run-of-the mill in-and-out appointment.

Dr Warren delivered my daughter. He was patient and stayed with me despite the fact that his shift ended. I think another doctor may have recommended Caesarian.

I was very nervous about possibility of having a C-section for second time. Dr. Warren provided good feedback in the option to try for natural labor after reviewing my case. Although I ended up having c-section his confidence in the process and sense of humor helped tremendously in decreasing my anxiety. Overall my experience in the OR was very good. Recovery has also been successful.

He is educated in is field. but if you want to be rushed, this is the place to be. His staff is not helpful. He does things the last minute. He cannot reassure you your pregnancy is fine. He pushed C Sections too much. He won't answer questions. He can't help you with much. He is on autopilot and is always tired and dismissive.

LIterally the worst experience I've ever had.
