Born in Southern California, Michael Wells went to school in California and Oregon before moving to the Midwest in 1987. He believes seniors are our greatest treasure because they anchor our communities with a wealth of knowledge and experience. He came to ArchWell health because it provides him with the opportunity to focus exclusively on caring for his favorite generation. When he’s not seeing patients, he enjoys working on his small farm near
Richmond, Missouri. He has two grown children, Benjamin and Samuel and in his spare time, he enjoys fishing and bicycling.

Dr. Wells is a good Dr. who takes the time with his patients and listens. However, sometimes he runs way behind and waiting 2 hours for an office visit is way too long. They probably need better organization and to not make so many appoints that they run 2 hours behind. I think they should answer the phone before 9 and have someone there to take calls during lunch when its convenient for most people to call.

I did not appreciate the lack of organization and knowledge of staff, much less the constant change of medical assistance who are not trained well, yet do most of work of a real nurse. And yes, the office has double standards when it comes to treating patients as the Dr. treats himself. Very disappointed in the honesty of the Doctor and the rudeness of the Office Manager. If only they would smile it would make the office experience pleasant at least.

Dr Wells really listens and takes as much time as I need to talk to me and discuss options and alternatives. I am so glad for his knowledge and expertise.

Took the day off work, waited an hour while people who arrived after me went in first. I left with no care having been received. Oh, they have all kinds of rules about what happens if you don't show for you appt., but couldn't help me at all...no second chances!!

Dr. Wells is absolutely the best doctor I've seen in Missouri and even in other states. It's a clinic serving many people, so the wait was expected and worth it because of the excellent care Dr. Wells and his staff provided. Dr. Wells treated me with kindness, dignity and respect. I felt he trusted my knowledge of my own body and worked with me to address all issues. I was terribly sad to hear he left SUR.
