Long story short, messed up my ankle and despite multiple visits just kept telling me I need more time to recover. Last time I called the office to tell them it was still not right they wouldn’t even return my call.

I have had bunions as long as I can remember. I saw others that had bunionectomy surgery and it was horrible looking afterwards. Dr. Werner made my foot look beautiful again. Going back to have the other foot done in a couple weeks. I can't wait to be able to wear beautiful shoes (flats mostly) on my beautiful feet. He is did the most beautiful job on the surgery and the scar is barely noticeable. Thank you so much Dr. Werner.

Went for 2nd opinion and was back on my feet after 3 weeks with Dr. Werner. I Spent 5 1/2 MONTHS at another practice on Linglestown Road in Harrisburg with no progress. I thank Dr. Werner for being there to take care of his patients not his pockets!!

Dr. Werner may be a personable doctor, but in my case performed a procedure that did not improve my prior condition (hammertoes),. Worse yet, he performed an osteotomy (removed bone and toe knuckles), the ends of which did not heal; the remaining knuckles painfully bear the weight that should be distributed among 5. The osteotomy and hammertoe "correction" reduced the length of 2 toes--one toe by almost an inch. The big toe, having much less of the 2nd and 3rd toes to support it, is now curving into a swollen and painful bunion. Before the surgery, I had called the assistant to request that the toes not be reduced. That request was not conveyed , and a comparatively simple hammertoe condition is now a complex disfigured foot that has severely limited my activities such as walking and standing for any length of time, dancing, hiking. It will take additional complex surgery, many months of rehab and healing, and payments (with another surgeon) to correct.
