do not go to this doctor unless you are desperate and cannot find care elsewhere. he is nearly impossible to reach in medical mental health emergencies, will over prescribe medication for disorders you’re not diagnosed with, and is unprofessional and takes about uncomfortable issues not related to your personal mental health during session. i always felt rushed as if he wasn’t listening to me, just nodding along. he will more than likely just throw random medications at you until you are a zombie.

Having seen over 16 Psychiatrist in 30 years Dr. Wilcox is by far the best I've ever seen!. I have been a client of his over 14 years now & have personally recommend him to 4 close friends and family. They all feel the same as I do. Dr. Wilcox is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, through, & truly compassionate. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking psychological services!

Dr, Wilcox is the best of the best hands down. Very personable, comfortable to talk to with no pressure on you and he really listens to what you are trying to explain to him (most doctor just act like their listening, you know what I am talking about). Dr Wilcox is very knowledgeable and easy going; like sitting in a cafe and having a relaxing conversation.

After the death of my husband of 28 years, I was completely lost, severely depressed, and very apprehensive about seeing a psychiatrist for help. From the instant I met Dr Wilcox he made me feel completely comfortable. He is like talking to a best friend. Absolutely no judgement. He saved my life with his common sense way of dealing with issues. Thank you!

The only problem is you can't get ahold of him because his voicemail is always full and it's hard to get a call back or get a message through even.
