Dr. Michael Lee Wing

Dr. Wing graduated from Loma Linda University. Dr. Wing was an associate faculty member of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University and taught in the undergraduate Oral Surgery department for two years following his education at Loma Linda University. Dr. Wing has been recognized for superior ability in Oral Surgery by the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Loma Linda University. Dr. Wing also received an award from the Department of Oral Implantology for research in correcting osseous defects around implants and the use of BMP to correct defects. He has been on staff for multiple hospitals through out San Diego for treating medically compromised patients and has an extensive background in prosthetics and surgery. Dr. Wing also enjoys cosmetic dentistry and full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Wing has been lecturing across the country for the application of Cone Beam and CAD/CAM technologies. He is passionate about technology and its …application in daily practice. Dr. Wing is trained in the latest techniques for placing dental implants and the use of guided implant surgery. Dr. Wing was in private practice in La Jolla, CA. After 10 years in California, he then decided to seek some peace in the mountains and so he moved to Colorado. Dr. Wing was in private practice in the Vail Valley for 10 years at Eagle Valley Dental. After too many cold winters, Dr. Wing decided to return to the South for some warmer weather which brought him to beautiful Lake Norman. Dr. Wing recently acquired Birkdale Dental, formerly known as Landmark Dental, in Birkdale Village, located in Huntersville, North Carolina. Dr. Wing enjoys time on his horse farm with his beautiful wife Amy and 4 children, Emily, Juanita, Morgan and Harrison. He also enjoys time on the lake and messing with anything that has a motor. Dr Wing is excited to practice in the Lake Norman area and is ready to serve his patients with compassion and love. Dr. Wing says "there is no job too small or too big for his dental team" and he is ready to resolve any of your dental issues.
