Dr. Wong was born in Buffalo, New York to parents who emigrated from Taiwan for higher education and grew up predominately in Princeton, New Jersey. He graduated with a degree in Premedical Science from Lehigh University after which he attended Drexel University for his medical education. He went on to complete both a residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pain Management at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.What first drew Dr. Wong to medicine was a desire to alleviate a patient’s pain and suffering. He enjoys managing the many facets of pain as an illness along with the dynamic and rapidly changing interventional techniques and procedures being employed to aid an incapacitated patient.His philosophy in patient care is comprehensive and multimodal to meet the unique needs of each patient. The appointment was soon after my call. Staff was kind and helpful. MD took a generous amount of time with my husband and I to explain the MRI results and develop a plan of care. The injection appt is a little far out, so I am glad my pain is 8-10 only a small amount of my day.

Amazing! He is caring understanding and listens to what your symptoms are and comes up with a solution that works really quick that gave me the relief I desperately needed. Dr. Wong is #1 most caring doctor I have ever met.

When dealing with a chronic pain it has been quite a blessing to have someone who absolutely cares about how I feel and that takes the time to listen to what I have to say. I'm grateful for Dr Wong and the staff for the care they have provided for me over this last year! Blessings to you all.

I visited Dr. Wong because the last pain doctor I saw didnt listen to my issues or history. Dr. Wong was very understanding and took great care in explaining everything.

The Bel Air MD location is amazing. I live an hour away. In Glen Burnie MD. While there is a NSAPC here, I travel to Dr. Wong because he?s so great!! The Glen Burnie location is actually the worst ?doctor experience? I have ever had. I would NEVER recommend that location. From the front office staff, to the nurses, to Manuel (PA), everyone at the bel air location always make me feel valued and very welcome.
