Dr. Michael Chihkang Wu, MD

Appears to have good analytical skills, but very condescending, rude, and lacks empathy. This doctor has forgotten that the true art of medicine involves a dose of empathy, humility, and making a patient feel comfortable rather than judged and analyzed like a specimen. Shall not be returning.

This doctor is the worst psychiatrist I’ve ever been to! He’s insensitive and lacks the patience to be working with the mentally ill! He just gives up on you if he can’t crack the coconut, no pun intended. His ego is bigger than the oath he took to be a doctor and doesn’t live up to the Hippocratic oath he took because I know he would never treat a family member like he treated me. Stay away if you want to keep any sanity you still have!

He's horrible! I don't know where he's from, absolutely uncaring individual I've ever met. He needs to get another day time job before he ruins more patients. Please don't be a doctor for people with mental problems, you are the worst I've ever met.

If I could give less than one star, I would. My experience with Dr. Wu was a long and disappointing one. After seeing him for over a year, he was never able to help me with the sudden onset of an anxiety disorder. I was kept on what I refer to as a "hamster wheel" of medication cocktails. I often felt that the problem was me or with the medication, but it turns out that he just didn't have the experience or know-how to treat my condition properly. If you need a doctor that will simply maintain medication that you know already works for you, he is perfect. Look elsewhere if you are facing the unknown.

Each appointment, no matter how bad, was 20-30 mins or less. For regular follow up, I can understand the 10 min appointment, but 20 mins for meetings early on, especially when there's a lot going on is ridiculous! I was bounced from Rx to Rx pretty easily, which tells me he may not know what he's doing.

Dr. Wu is an excellent pharmacologist and has put together a medication "cocktain" which has enabled me to deal well with a lifelong clinical depression.

Years ago, over the course of a number of sessions, Dr. Wu carefully and thoughtfully assessed that a condition which I purportedly suffered had been previously misdiagnosed by others. I was cautiously but pleasantly surprised. In my opinion it took exceptional professional expertise, confidence, and courage for him to arrive at and share that conclusion. I am very happy to share, especially now with the benefit of hindsight, that his conclusions were in fact precisely accurate. My life has flourished since, both personally and professionally. I was, and will always remain, extremely grateful to him. My personal experience informs me that his website representations "to promote dignity, integrity, and acceptance through the delivery of modern, comprehensive mental health care... committed to excellence in service and strive to carry out goals with respect, compassion, and dedication." are completely true.Thank you and God bless you, Dr. Wu. My experience with Dr. Wu was excellent. He shows deep concern for one's issues and is determined to solve the problem. I am very glad I found him. I would definitely recommend him.
