Dr. Michael Jerome Yaszemski

Dr. Yaszemski removed a rare cancerous tumor from my tailbone in 2007. Since the first time my husband and I met Dr. Yaszemski to discuss my diagnosis and recommendations for removing the cancerous tailbone we have felt so blessed to have met such a highly skilled surgeon but more equally important was how he made us feel., as if I were his only patient. He takes so much time each time I come for my check ups to make sure all questions are answered and I always leave feeling amazed at how much he cares about his patients. Six years later I'm cancer free and enjoying life and I'm so thankful to the Lord and Dr. Yaszemski!

This man is exceptional --both as a physician and human being. He's compassionate, which is all too often a rarity. His credentials and experience, impeccable. I am so fortunate and grateful to have had him as my surgeon. I hope he never retires, so that many, many more people can benefit from his talent.

If you Google "intelligence" you will find there are anywhere between 7 and 9 different kinds. It's difficult to find someone who has mastery over several of those intelligences, but Dr. Yaszemski is one of them. He is a skilled surgeon whose problem-solving and amazing knowledge can only be met by his incredible compassion, kindness and sincerity. His confidence is not arrogant, but rather inspired by knowing that a higher power is in charge. My family and I feel privileged and blessed to be under his care. We are grateful for and to Dr. Y and thank the good Lord for helping us connect.
