He does not listen to you

Very thorough and kind

I had an appointment for a severe sprain at 1130. I arrived 20 minutes late due to poor directions and actually being directed to the parking lots and then the wrong building when I called this doctor's phone number for help. when I finally arrived I was told the doctor had canceled my appointment to go to a meeting, and had already left. I was also told he had only allotted 15 minutes from 1130 to 1145 -for the appointment even though I was a new patient and would probably have lots of forms to fill out. They never told me this when the appointment was set, and did not try to call when the doctor decided to "cancel" the appointment. I had to drive 40 minutes to get there, and walk a lot which was very painful. Round trip this wasted 2 hours of my time. While I appreciate I was a bit late, this is pretty routine in the medical business and often you have to wait for a long time after your appointment time. The lack of courtesy in notifying me of the tight appointment window, and the… utter lack of consideration in not calling to apprise me of the cancellation makes me wonder how much this doctor cares for his patients. I was very disappointed.

Excellent

I had a serious injury to my foot that was not diagnosed. It left me with permanent limitations that might have been corrected if it had been diagnosed earlier. But it was too late for surgery by the time it was diagnosed by another doctor.

Went there to see what the problem was, had been to 3 different physicians, no one could find really anything wrong, but I was in a lot of pain. Went to Dr Yorio, and he asked a lot of questions of how I felt did an x-ray, and moved joints around. Very articulate and thorough, he diagnosed me, to what the problem was. I would highly recommend him.

I have been to Dr. Yorio twice. His diagnosis and recommendations have been excellent. He listens and is very knowledgeable. Need I say more?
