Dr. Michael Edward Yungaitis, DMD

I am sharing my experience to help others make informed decisions. I had a procedure performed by this dentist in September 2025 and experienced a very difficult outcome. During the procedure, I experienced significant discomfort and breathing distress, which I had previously informed the provider about. The procedure was not paused in a timely manner, and I had to sit upright in order to breathe. After the treatment, I developed persistent pain in the treated tooth. The condition did not improve and later required a root canal and crown. This resulted in additional treatment, financial cost, and disruption to my daily life. I attempted to address the matter, but it was not resolved. Based on my experience, I would encourage patients to ensure clear communication and careful monitoring during dental procedures.

Dr. Y is a great dentist. I have been terrified of the dentist for so many years that I had no choice but to go. He made it easy for me and I can't thank him enough for helping me get my smile back!

I have been looking forever for a dentist that i can trust and feel comfortable with. I went for a cleaning and exam with Dr. Yungaitis and i actually felt like he took his time and cared about my teeth. He even took extra time to explain everything in depth so i would fully understand and even showed me pictures of my cavities. I have a huge fear of needles and was so scared to get a filling done. He reassured me that he would be very gentle, and he was right. I barely felt the needle and it wasn't uncomfortable at all. The entire time i felt completely relaxed and my tooth that was hurting me no longer does! So my next few fillings were a breeze, and he even asks me how my fillings are doing and always checking up on them when i go in. I'm so happy i found Dr. Yungaitis

I went to visit Dr. Y to get a regular dental check up and cleaning. He gave me a clean bill of dental health. I felt he spent a good amount of time cleaning my teeth (more than other dentist had in the past). At the end of the appointment I decided to get another one to get teeth whitening since I felt really comfortable with him. I got my whitening the following time and trust me when I say that my teeth look amazing. Dr . Y was really patient and answered all my questions before doing the whitening, since I was a little nervous. I found my dentist!
